It’s easy to care for nature combined with unique colouration make it a perfect addition for those wanting to try something a little different from the ever popular Cryptocoryne genus.

Lagenandra meeboldii “Red” is a slow grower and easy plant making it suitable for almost all aquariums. It has a large root structure and will benefit from a nutrient-rich substrate with root tabs that can target-feed the roots. It will grow in a wide range of aquarium water parameters, but CO2 injection and strong lighting will give the best colours and most robust growth. Feed the plant leaves regularly with liquid fertilisers.
