Shipping policy
Below are general guidelines. As a small business, we usually only have one person doing it all. There may be the odd delay, but we strive to follow the timelines below and appreciate your patience as we grow together!
Local Pickup - 1016 Bayside Drive, Saint John, NB
- Order online, select Store Pickup, wait for your email to confirm the pickup is ready (about 24hrs).
- Orders can be picked up any time during regular business hours.
- Orders not picked up within 7 days will be automatically canceled.
- Livestock will only be packed once you arrive (for obvious reasons).
Courier Shipping
- We use different couriers for orders being shipped outside of our Local Delivery Area (LDA).
- Livestock is only shipped Tuesday's and Thursday's within New Brunswick for next day delivery. Other provinces within Atlantic Canada will be shipped Monday or Tuesday ONLY. Please review our DOA policy carefully before placing an order containing livestock.
- Dry Goods are generally shipped within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) using Canada Post. Canada Post's delivery standard is 2-7 days. Shipping rates within Canada have been constantly changing. We do not ship outside of Atlantic Canada at this time.
- Free shipping on orders over the free shipping minimum within Canada (excluding far north provinces and territories). Oversized and overweight items are excluded and are subject to additional shipping fees. (Exclusive of taxes and discounts).
Local Delivery
- Next day deliveries are delivered between 9AM and 9PM of the day you receive your out for delivery notification. You may receive your out for delivery notification via text or email to inform you of the ETA. Due to the nature of life, these ETAs may fluctuate throughout the day due to traffic, route changes and weather conditions.
-
Once your order is delivered, Summit Pets will not be liable for any theft, death, or thawing that may occur as a result of not being home or leaving it outside. Due to the potential of interrupting your Zoom meeting while working from home and dogs who become reactive to new friends at the door, we will not ring the doorbell or knock when delivering.
